We've been using Love Your Pets tags for over a decade with our cats and dogs. In the past, we ordered the classic brass version and loved them - virtually indestructible and always readable, even after years of use. This time we tried the classic stainless instead. While it is still a good tag, we think it is not as good as the brass. The stainless is already showing a lot of scratches. I don't think that it necessarily scratches more than the brass did, but because it is a shinier metal the scratches are much more visible and make it much harder to read the tag. We didn't have this problem with the brass version. The next time we need to update our pets tags, we will go back to the brass version.

Super. We travel a lot so I had address on the front and put 3 phone numbers on the back. Are old tag had one number and it fail where we were at. The people that found our dog keep trying the number and it finally went thru. At least now have better chance getting thru with 3 number on the tag.

Over the years I've purchased a number of Love Your Pets tags of various sizes and shapes. We even still have some of the tags of our deceased pets. Tags hold up very well to wear and rubbing against the rabies tag. I had to shop around to find tags that were actually engraved as many are just printed and the print quickly wears off. 4+ years for our older dog and the tag engraving still looks like new.

This was not my first purchase of tags.
