As founder of Animaldefense Rescue.org [ADR.org], I rescue a good number of dogs from high kill shelters in CA and then bring them with https://www.startrescue.org/ to WA state to live with me on my property until the matching home is found.
During the transport from Ca to WA my rescue dog ALWAYS wears a tag from https://www.loveyourpets.com/ and when adopted ADR.org offers in adoption package an ID tag as well with the credentials of the adopters- for safety and my adoption agreement requires that the dog wears a collar with ID tag.

We have an older dog, that I have been looking for a tag that suits his personality and coloring. He is white and black and this was perfect. With an adoption from my non profit dog rescue, I ask my adopters to always have a ID tag on the dog - be it on a collar and/or on a harness. ALWAYS. many people have heard about microchip but a collar with an ID tag is more visible and helpful when a dog is found : people can immedaitely call the owner's phone # instead of going to a vet and have the microchip # scanned to get the info of thye owner. So i would consider that as a life saver and helping people finding dogs to reunite the animal with its owner.
For that purpose I order these tags for them and then they are directly shipped to them in a timely manner. For the first time i used the color RED this month and it looks super good. Now LoveYourPets has even double sided tags- Great MOVE!
